Belle and Chain is cosmic americana music. Formed by actress-director Spencer Grammer (Rick & Morty, Greek) and multi-instrumentalist Davis IL, Grammer was encouraged to pick up the guitar as therapy after suffering a stabbing in 2020 while trying to break up a fight.
She was raised New York City and Los Angeles in a deeply artistic household — her father a celebrated TV actor, her mother a Broadway dancer — and immersed in the performing arts from an early age. In her career as an actress/director, Grammer's earned widespread recognition as voice of Summer Smith on Adult Swim's Rick and Morty.
